Hale Lytle was born and raised in Richmond, VA. He loves fishing, swimming, hunting, kayaking, and throwing the football and baseball. Indoor hobbies include playing video games, drawing, Legos and chess which he is currently learning. Hale has three dogs and two cats.
Off to a good start in his newly chosen career, Hale has hooked his future on upcoming directors like Craig William Macneill (The Boy 2015) & Matt Kazman. His provocative shorts include Killer (2016), the Sundance Award winning Henley (2011) and Fort Apache (2013). Hale completed his first feature film in 2014 Young Bodies Heal Quickly. He is currently working on the 8th season of the TV hit A Haunting (2005 - 2016).
But Hale has been unfazed by the buzz surrounding him. New to film and making his first appearance at the Sundance Film Festival, Hale admits that ?it is exciting,? but like any other 10-year-old, he is equally excited about all the snowboarding he gets to do in Park City and the possibility of running into one of his favorite actors: Will Ferrell.
The Sundance award-winning ?Henley? short was Hale Lytle first venture into acting. Hale, then a budding 8-year-old, was chosen from over one hundred children who read for the part. As an untrained actor who has never once graced the stage, Hale possesses the raw talent that most performers can only dream of having.
Hale can be seen as Nick in Don't Come Back from the Moon (2017) and later this year as Reggie in The Evening Hour.
